If anyone thought the first Aussie poker player to win the Aussie Millions Main Event luckboxed his way to victory, then they may not want to say that to Stewart Scott’s face.

Scott recently finished 3rd at the Bellagio in the lead up to the $25,000 WPT Championship in Las Vegas for the healthy sum of just under $120,000 USD. The event was the $5,000 NLHE event which was part of the WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic.

Scott started from the get-go finishing day one 4th in chips and went on for the 3rd place finish behind Matt Brady and Jean Gaspard.

Not bad concidering his late decision to fly out to Las Vegas.

This will most likely not be the last we hear of the Aussie Millions Champion.
